Electrical & Electronics Production Junior Engineer

As an employee of our company, the Junior Electrical and Electronic Production Engineer will provide technical support in the manufacturing, integration, and validation of the electrical and electronic systems of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). They will work under the supervision of the engineering and production team to ensure that components such as wiring harnesses, control units, sensors, and power systems are assembled and verified correctly according to aerospace industry standards. Their role will be key in various projects, ensuring the quality and functionality of the systems installed in prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly and installation of harnesses, connectors, and electronic equipment in UAS aircraft following plans and technical instructions.
  • Participar en la verificación de continuidad, polaridad y funcionamiento básico de circuitos y sistemas eléctricos. 
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires according to defined procedures, ensuring a clean and reliable installation. 
  • Leer e interpretar esquemas eléctricos y listas de conexiones para apoyar el montaje correcto de sistemas. 
  • Work alongside the production team to integrate systems in aircraft assembly and collaborate with quality in process control. 
  • Fill out production records, verification sheets, and technical reports to ensure the traceability of the work performed. 
  • Comply with electrical safety procedures, ESD, and regulations applicable to the aerospace industry.

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher vocational training in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience (minimum 6 months to 2 years) in electrical/electronic assembly will be valued, preferably in the aerospace, automotive, or similar sectors.. 
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and aircraft wiring. 
  • Ability to use hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, soldering tools, multimeters, etc.). 
  • Basic handling of electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, Altium, SolidWorks Electrical) and office tools.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards or similar.
  • Precision in wiring and assembly tasks to ensure the quality and safety of the systems.
  • Proactivity to acquire technical knowledge, adapt to new tasks and procedures. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with operators, technicians, and engineers in dynamic production and R&D environments.
