Junior IT Technician

The junior IT technician will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to internal users, maintaining the hardware and software of workstations, and assisting in the implementation of technological solutions. Their role will be essential to ensure the proper functioning of the company's computer systems and to support the resolution of daily incidents.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network incidents).
- Install, configure, and maintain computer equipment (PCs, printers, peripherals).
- Support in user management (creation, modification, and deactivation of accounts, access control).
- Assist in the maintenance of LAN/WIFI networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Document incidents and solutions in the technical support database.
- Collaborate on tasks related to the installation and updating of corporate software.
- Keep the inventory of computer equipment up to date.
- Comply with the cybersecurity policies established by the company.
Must have
- Vocational training at the intermediate or advanced level in computer science, Microcomputer Systems, Networks, or similar.
- Basic certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, etc.) will be valued.
- From 0 to 2 years of experience in technical support or systems administration.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with incident management software (ticketing).
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software failures.
- Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Installation and configuration of operating systems and applications.
- Management of office automation tools and email systems.
Desirable
- Previous experience with IT asset management tools (such as OCS, GLPI, Lansweeper).
- Basic knowledge in systems administration (Active Directory, group policies, scripts).
- Experience in user support in Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of remote control tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.).
- Interest in professional development in cybersecurity or network/system administration.
