At Singular Aircraft, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Production Technician to carry out structural assembly, mechanical installation, and physical integration of the different subsystems that are part of the UAS. This role is key to ensuring that mechanical components are assembled correctly and in accordance with the defined technical requirements.
You will participate in component and subassembly assembly operations, installation of mechanisms and structures, part fitting and alignment, and the use of manual and measuring tools. You will also support mechanical testing and validation activities, working in accordance with established manufacturing and quality procedures, and collaborating closely with the Production, Engineering, and Integration teams to ensure the reliability and traceability of the final product.
Key Responsabilities
- • Perform mechanical assembly of UAS systems according to drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- • Supervise production processes.
- • Handle and install structural parts, supports, mechanisms, joints, and hardware.
- • Use manual tools and measuring equipment (calipers, torque wrenches, gauges, etc.).
- • Assemble subassemblies and participate in final mechanical integrations.
- • Prepare surfaces and apply fasteners, sealants, or industrial technical adhesives when required.
- • Detect and report incidents, deviations, or assembly issues.
- • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure proper assembly and fitting.
- • Maintain order, safety, and organization within the work area (5S best practices).
- • Participate in flight test campaigns, ensuring aircraft airworthiness and supporting GNC teams and pilots during taxiing and flight operations.
- • Supervise mechanical production processes.
Requirement
- • Technical training in Mechanics, Industrial Manufacturing, Aeronautics, or a related field.¡
- • Knowledge of mechanical assembly, technical drawing interpretation, and basic tool usage.
- • Ability to handle parts and perform adjustments, drilling, riveting, and mechanical fastening operations.
- • Ability to work following technical instructions and procedures.
- • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Nice to Have
- • Previous experience in aeronautics, UAS, automotive, or industrial machinery environments.
- • Knowledge of materials, composites, tooling, or CNC manufacturing.
- • Experience in advanced measurement, metrology, or dimensional verification.
- • Familiarity with mechanical assembly of lightweight structures or moving systems.
